Reflection
Not everyone can be a superhero so proper assessment is needed so that we do not put people in unnecessary danger.
By planning out weekly lessons with Learning Matrix and assessment plan, it helps me identifying learning outcome and its connection to course content and assessments. For design education, project based learning is a norm rather than exception. However, for online learning, I will included formative assessment to gauge students' understanding of materials but does not affect their grade greatly. Both assessment plan and learning matrix include grading rubrics so that students understand the expectation of the assignment. Lastly, I will use Edmodo poll and seek comments of my teaching and course materials so that I may self-assess and make adjustment to the course as needed during the semester.
